Medics' Relay 2021 We are so excited to announce the Lincoln Medics' Relay 2021! The Medics' Relay is a fantastic way to get out in the sun, keep fit alongside studying, and raise money for our MedSoc charities this year - Lincolnshire Rape Crisis and Notts & Lincs Air Ambulance The relay will be held from Saturday 24th April to Saturday 1st May Get your t-shirts from the SU shop - the £10 cost covers your donation and allows you to enter the competitive categories (prizes to be won!!) 🏆 T-shirts will be available from the 5th-17th April If any of your friends or family want to support the cause, they can donate to the JustGiving page which is linked here! |

Antimicrobial Awareness Week: Antibiotics Talk 23rd November 2020 6pm Hosted on Blackboard Collaborate In light of World Antimicrobial Awareness Week, the next MedSoc talk will be 'Antimicrobial Awareness', delivered by Mr Ian Jackson! 💊 Mr Jackson is a clinical pharmacist, former local prescribing advisor, trained medical herbalist, and a lecturer of pharmacology here at Lincoln Medical School. This talk will be focused on raising awareness about antibiotics, including their benefits, risks and problems. This event is open to all! Dr Runa Saha will be leading this talk, introducing the profession and discussing the active role a GP has in primary care. Dr Saha is the Director of Early Clinical and Professional Development here at Lincoln Medical School and was a GP partner in Lincolnshire for twelve years!
